The number of homes listed and under contract fell for both areas, but the number of homes sold jumped from 112 to 146 in Woodstock, and from 276 to 375 in Cherokee County. The number of days on market also decreased substantially, indicating that buyers are motivated right now. The increased demand makes sense considering that many families want to move when the school year ends, to give their children some time to acclimate to their new home before school starts back up in August.

The average sales price to list price ratio increased for both Woodstock and Cherokee County, from 95% and 96% respectively to 98% for both. Meanwhile, the average sales price for both areas also increased. Those are both good news for sellers, who are enjoying the perks of increased demand and motivated buyers willing to pay more to beat out the competition.
